Nova attended the West Midlands ESF Stars for Skills Awards on Wednesday this week. Two of our NEET learners were nominated for awards and shortlisted. Both learners were duly given commendations.
Many of the learners who have been on scheme with Nova recognised the support, guidance and benefits that our Pre and Post 16 courses had given them and subsequently nominated Nova for the outstanding provider category.
I am pleased to say that Nova were awarded the OUTSTANDING PROVIDER award. Furthermore local press have requested to do a video on Nova and the work we are doing with the young people.
Providers nominated for the category included train to gain, response to redundancy, 14-19, 50+ and adult WBL providers.
I would like to thank all those who have supported us with the delivery of our Pre and Post 16 NEET programmes across the Black Country and Telford and Wrekin.
An ESF newsletter has been published from the event and can be accessed via the link below.

Nova Training also scooped the award for the Outstanding Training Provider. The award recognises the efforts of Nova Training who have helped to deliver ESF-backed projects and who have made a significant contribution to developing skills within the region, which have a real impact on the lives of their learners.
